A multi-vendor marketplace for collectibles was preparing for launch. Orders, shipping and invoicing had to work for many vendors at once, invoices had to support Arabic, and the site needed to stay fast.
The solution
I joined the existing development team for the final stretch before launch.
- Shipping per vendor: shipping labels are created automatically for each vendor in an order.
- Vendors in control: each vendor sees and manages only their own orders.
- Arabic invoices: invoices display Arabic text correctly.
- Live updates: instant notifications and cart updates.
- Speed and stability: faster pages through caching, and protection against excessive requests.
- Better shopping experience: a reworked category system, product browsing and checkout.
